Future Commercial Facilities: Commercial x Parks
In this age of online shopping, when considering the role of a commercial facility as a real place, it is extremely important that it be a place people want to go to and a place they can have fun all day long.
By combining park-like elements with a revenue-generating commercial facility, a new public space will be created where people can enjoy a variety of activities, such as relaxing, enjoying nature, shopping, strolling, and eating.

The plan calls for the development of a hill-like park green space (Seaside Park) that connects these two areas, and at the same time, the construction of retail buildings that connect this park green space with the existing Rinku Premium OutletsⓇ, in an integrated manner with the park green space, to create a new shopping resort that is integrated with the park overlooking the sea.

Gotemba Premium Outlets 4th Phase (Hillside) was built on a tiered land that was originally sloping. The tiered building base is made up of three levels, low, middle, and high, with a 5m height difference between each level to match the store building's floor height. The efficient building layout was considered based on the shape of the site, tracing the contours of the previous sloping land, and the retaining wall lines between the building base levels were set to match the building layout.
