Optimization using BIM
Overall optimization using BIM
Streamlining the design
Design using BIM models makes it possible to centralize drawings that were previously separated for each function, reducing the risk of rework and enabling rational design. In addition, because drawings and CG can be linked, even non-experts can intuitively check the design through visualization, facilitating consensus building.
Building maintenance
It will be possible to manage renovation and repair histories using the BIM model, moving away from the previous scrap-and-build approach.
City-level BIM
As confirmation applications using BIM become more widespread, BIM data will be accumulated at the city level. In future urban development, overall optimization (architecture, environment, disaster prevention, etc.) will be sought at the city level, rather than just individual buildings.

This office was added to an existing building to provide a work style and workplace that responds to the changing times, in line with the consolidation of LIXIL's global headquarters functions. The development of a "hybrid environmental control system" that links the internal and external environment with natural ventilation windows and air conditioners has created an "office that blends in with the city's breeze," which is both energy-saving and comfortable. In addition, the adoption of Japan's first direct-bonded four-sided SSG construction curtain wall creates a fusion of the transparency of glass and the latest technology.

This is a reconstruction plan to ensure BCP functions and to renew functions. Located on the main street of Takamatsu City, the concept was "inheritance and development" with the theme of "always being there" as a leading local company. facade is an eco-frame that combines environment, structure and design, with functions of natural ventilation void, solar shading and daylight utilization, and has neat details of single window grid inherited from the former main store. The interior takes into consideration the local characteristics and uses building materials and crafts related to Kagawa, reusing materials from the former main store and inheriting the memory.
