Obtaining ZEB Oriented and ZEB Ready certification through renovation of existing buildings
The JRE Yoyogi 1-Chome Building and the JRE Kayabacho 2-Chome Building (owned by Japan Real Estate Investment Corporation), in which we are involved in the renovation planning, received the highest rating of 5 stars in the Building-Housing Energy-Efficiency Labeling System (hereinafter referred to as "BELS") during the design stage. The JRE Yoyogi 1-Chome Building also received ZEB Oriented certification, and the JRE Kayabacho 2-Chome Building received ZEB Ready certification on March 7th.
We were in charge of concept design and Construction Management for the building renovation project. We identified the possibility of ZEB based on existing energy data and existing drawings, and while evaluating energy-saving performance, we selected CO2 reduction specifications for the renovation work (energy-saving renovations, capacity optimization, introduction of the latest equipment, etc.).
We will continue to support our customers in their efforts to reduce CO2 emissions and achieve their environmental goals.
