"SKY LAB, Roof Top Of Otemachi Building" wins Grand Prize in the Design Category at the "CLA Award 2022"
The SKY LAB, Roof Top Of Otemachi Building, designed by our company, won Grand Prize in the Design Category at the 2022 CLA Award, sponsored by Landscape Consultants Association.
The 64-year-old Otemachi Building has been undergoing Renovation since 2018 to meet modern needs and ensure safety, as part of a project to extend the building's lifespan to 100 years. As part of this project, the rooftop, which was previously used as an equipment storage area, has been transformed into an outdoor workspace and farm surrounded by lush greenery, making use of the vast area of approximately 4,000 m2 located in the heart of the skyscraper district. A worship space for the Otemachi Kannon, which has been installed since the building was completed, has also been created.
CLA Award are highly trusted as an award that recognizes outstanding Landscape consulting work that contributes to environmental conservation and creation.
