A demonstration experiment was conducted on remote ordering from outdoor to indoor stores and product delivery by a robot at Marunouchi

On Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in collaboration with The Council for Area Development and Management of Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho a general incorporated association), Aisan Technology Co., Ltd., and Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd., we conducted a demonstration experiment on creating a robot driving environment using a 3D digital map that combines indoor and outdoor areas on Marunouchi Nakadori Street (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo).
We created a BIM model of the building to be combined with an outdoor 3D digital map, creating a unified indoor and outdoor 3D environment. After running a driving simulation on this data (virtual space), the robot actually ran from inside the Marunouchi 2-Chome Building to Marunouchi Nakadori Street Street.
This demonstration was planned with the aim of building a digital twin infrastructure for the future and creating a city where pedestrians and mobility vehicles coexist.
