Higashi-Gotanda 1-chome Building Obtains "ZEB Ready" Certification through Renovation of Existing Building
On March 5th, Higashi-Gotanda 1-chome Building, owned by Japan Real Estate Investment Corporation, received the highest rating of 5 stars and "ZEB Ready" certification in the Building-Housing Energy-Efficiency Labeling System (BELS) at the design stage. We were in charge of the concept design Construction Management for the building's renovation plan, and found the possibility of ZEBization based on existing energy data and existing drawings. We also evaluated the energy-saving performance and selected CO2 reduction specifications for the renovation work (energy-saving renovations, capacity optimization, introduction of the latest equipment, etc.). We will continue to support our customers' efforts to reduce CO2 emissions and achieve their environmental goals.
