Higashi-Gotanda 1-chome Building Obtains "ZEB Ready" Certification through Renovation of Existing Building
On March 5th, the Higashi-Gotanda 1-Chome Building owned by Japan Real Estate Investment Corporation received the highest rating of 5 stars and ZEB Ready certification under the Building-Housing Energy-Efficiency Labeling System (BELS) at the design stage. Our company was in charge of concept design Construction Management for the building's renovation plan, and identified the possibility of ZEB based on existing energy data and existing drawings. We also conducted an energy-saving performance evaluation and selected CO2 reduction specifications for the renovation work (energy-saving renovations, capacity optimization, introduction of the latest equipment, etc.). We will continue to support our customers in their efforts to reduce CO2 emissions and achieve their environmental goals.
