Selected for the "Ikebukuro West Exit Park Development concept design Development Proposal"

Mitsubishi Jisho Design + LANDSCAPE PLUS Joint Venture was selected for the "Ikebukuro West Exit Park Development concept design Development Proposal."
This project involved a large-scale renovation of Ikebukuro West Exit Park, renovating it into a theater park. Based on the concept of a "Global Ring," our team proposed a theater space that could be used for a variety of purposes, from everyday use as a plaza to events featuring a full orchestra, and even as a disaster prevention base in the event of a disaster, by combining a permanent and temporary stage.
With a view to a grand opening in autumn 2019, the design will proceed in consultation with relevant organizations, including local governments and surrounding landowners.
