A high-rise office building with over 20,000 m2

Since its establishment in 1943, Hokuriku Bank has been working to become a bank beloved by the local community. In October 2021, Hokuriku Financial Holdings was established, with 11 subsidiaries, including Hokuriku Bank. The bank has moved away from traditional banking management and is working to create new innovations, such as establishing a consulting company as a "next-generation regional comprehensive company."

Founded in 1890, the firm has been based in Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and is the oldest Architectural Design in Japan, leveraging its network and accumulated expertise spanning more than 130 years to tackle an ever-expanding range of activities, from urban planning to architectural design, planning and consulting, Renovation, Construction Management. It is engaged in a wide range of business activities throughout East Asia and Southeast Asia.

This is the head office building of a regional bank with its head office in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Aiming to inherit the history and culture of Kanazawa and become a "town hall" beloved by the local community, we took advantage of the natural environment of the Hokuriku region to actively utilize lighting and ventilation, as well as well water, to reduce heat load.
The building is committed to "local production for local consumption," with interior design using locally grown cedar, Wajima lacquer benches, and signs made from Futamata washi paper, making it a place where local materials can be felt close to home.
In 2016, it won the 27th Hokuriku Architectural Culture Award.
