Hirooka Terrace site tour held for students

On April 15th, we invited students from Kanazawa University to a site tour of Hirooka Terrace (scheduled for completion in July 2025), a project in Kanazawa City that we are designing and Construction Supervision.

Hirooka Terrace is an office building designed as a place for people to gather and collaborate to generate new value through interaction, aiming to create an environment that supports a prosperous future for the local community and its occupant companies.
We are taking on various initiatives, including the installation of the "Moku Terrace," a semi-outdoor social space that contributes to improving the office environment, and the adoption of "MI Deck," a pre-reinforced concrete formwork lumber, on a largest scale ever.

First, in the cafeteria of Hokkoku Bank Head Office Building, located on the floor connected to Hirooka Terrace, representatives from Hokuriku Financial Holdings, Shimizu Corporation, and our company gave presentations on the project's background and concept, construction techniques, and design methods. There was a lively Q&A session, which showed the high level of interest of the students.

Afterwards, together with about 20 participants, including Professor Tatsuya Nishino of Kanazawa University (formerly a Mitsubishi Jisho Design employee), we toured the construction site where construction work was underway. It was a valuable lecture opportunity where the client, designer, and contractor came together to convey the appeal of the construction industry.
