As Japan faces a declining population, revitalizing local communities and encouraging cooperation among them has become essential themes.

In March 2023, we will open a new store in Oga City, Akita Prefecture. A public event that brings together players from across the country who are working on diverse urban development projects for discussion and interaction."Our Town Development Summit" Co-hosted by three companies *1 By getting involved from outside the region in positive initiatives launched in each region, we hope to generate exchanges between the city and the region and to find a way to develop the town in the future. The event aimed to share talent, knowledge, and enthusiasm across regions. Since then, the event has been held in various locations around the country. *2.

Starting with this event, our company has been continuously involved in the development of Oga and has supported everyone in the area working to revitalize the community.

This time, urban development startup NEWLOCAL Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Ryo Ishida) and a joint venture company of rice and agave Oga Machi Kikaku Co., Ltd. The former Funakawa Port Workers' Hall has been Renovation into a lodging facility by "Hotel Kazemachi Minato" We are pleased to announce that the grand opening will be on Friday, June 6th, 2025, and reservations will begin on Thursday, May 15th, 2025.

As a collaborative partner in this hotel project, we provided advisory services and conducted concept development.

Oga is an attractive town where the unique nature and culture are combined with the enthusiasm and sympathy of people from both inside and outside the region, and we sincerely hope that Hotel Kazemachi Minato will create new connections between visitors to the area and the local community, and become a comfortable place where you can experience Oga's "now".
