TAMACHI TOWER wins CTBUH Annual Awards 2025
Winner of the Urban Habitat Award for Award of Excellence / International architecture award recognizes contributions to the surrounding urban environment
We are pleased to announce that TAMACHI TOWER, designed by our company, has won the Award of Award of Excellence at the CTBUH Annual Awards 2025/Urban Habitat Award hosted by the US Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH).
TAMACHI TOWER
This office building features the first semi-outdoor "Winter Garden" in Japan as its exterior feature, and incorporates mechanisms to stimulate communication among workers. It pursuesthe "next-generation office standard" from multiple aspects, including BCP measures using a patented core rod vibration control system.
By utilizing the comprehensive design system, the functionality of the entire block is improved, including the development of a three-dimensional outdoor plaza and strengthening of functions that contribute to the local community, contributing to the development of the local community.
Founded in 1969, CTBUH is an international non-profit organization headquartered at the Illinois Institute of Technology in the U.S., as a professional organization dedicated to advancing knowledge of high-rise and urban architecture. The skyscraper rankings published by CTBUH are now widely recognized around the world.
CTBUH Award recognize projects that have made significant contributions to the development of high-rise buildings and urban environments and achieved a high level of sustainability. Evaluations are based on architecture, space, and technology, with an emphasis on the wellness of users. The Urban Habitat Award, established in 2014, specifically recognizes high-rise buildings that contribute to the surrounding urban environment.
