TRC Tokyo Ryutsu Center base participates in the "Heiwajima Automated Driving Council"

From Heiwajima to the social implementation of autonomous vehicles: Contributing to industrial development and the resolution of social issues.

We are pleased to announce that, as the first Architectural Design firm, we will be joining the Heiwajima Autonomous Driving Council (hereinafter, the Council), which is based at Tokyo Ryutsu Center Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, TRC).

This council conducts ongoing demonstration experiments on autonomous driving technology within the TRC premises, aiming to: ① promote open innovation by fostering collaboration among members involved in autonomous driving in areas of cooperation; and ② enable players (including consortia) who require a demonstration testing site near the city center to develop their own technologies within the TRC premises. This will contribute to the development of the autonomous driving industry and help solve social challenges facing Japan's logistics industry.

This fifth round of participation will see the addition of new members from various fields, including the administrative district where TRC is located, data center businesses, electrical construction, design firms, autonomous vehicle development companies based in Singapore and Germany, and logistics system design and manufacturing. This is expected to further broaden the scope of discussions and collaborations within the council.

Leveraging our expertise as a comprehensive design firm, we will contribute to solving various regional and societal challenges while looking ahead to an autonomous driving society and next-generation urban development.
