Winner will receive Winner prizes, so please come to the Urban Planning Division on the 3rd floor of Marugame City Hall.
To verify that you are the person who submitted the post, please bring something that shows your User ID from your My Page screen on the website "Bus Kame Fan!" (such as a screenshot on your smartphone, a printout of the screen, or a note with your User ID written down).

Please note that the pick-up period is until the end of city hall opening hours on May 29, 2026.

[Category Award: Community Development Category / From Marugame City]

Thank you very much for submitting so many wonderful entries to this contest. In the "Community Development Category," Marugame City has selected works that capture how public transportation intertwines with people's lives and the local landscape.

The selected works depict people relaxing on the beach, children waving to buses, bus stops and buildings that have been a part of the community for many years, and sunsets and nighttime views of the castle, harbor, and city center. None of the works are specially staged; they carefully capture the charm of Marugame City as it breathes life into everyday life. Behind them, one can feel the history that has been built up alongside people's activities and the existence of public transportation that supports the community.

The Marugame Community Bus has served not only as a means of transportation, but also as a link between generations and communities, and has been passed down as an integral part of the town's landscape. Through these works, we hope you will feel that Marugame City's urban development is rooted in people's lives, and that it is important to pass on the charm of this town to the next generation.

[Category Award: Bus Stop Category / Presented by Kotoden Bus Co., Ltd.]

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who submitted numerous entries during the contest.
Kotosan Bus Co., Ltd. has selected seven entries for the "Bus Stop Category." Based on the theme of the "Bus Stop Category," we have selected seven entries for each route from among photographs that include a bus stop.

Our main selection criteria focused on whether the bus stops, which are always there, and the connections they bring and carry through public transportation like route buses, were captured attractively through the combination of the bus stops with the scenery and people. Even as employees of a bus company, we were surprised by some of the works, thinking, "I didn't know you could see such scenery from this bus stop!" We found it fascinating to see the diverse scenery photographed alongside bus stops installed throughout Marugame City.

This contest was a valuable opportunity for us, the operators of the Marugame Community Bus, to reaffirm the importance of preserving the scenery of bus stops.
Going forward, we will continue our daily efforts to create public transportation that is close to the daily lives of the citizens of Marugame City and allows tourists to experience the charm of Marugame City.
Once again, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who submitted entries to this contest and to everyone who was involved in organizing it.

[Category Award: Marugame Winter Scenery Category / Mitsubishi Jisho Design Inc.]

Thank you very much for the numerous entries we received for this contest. In selecting the winners for the "Marugame Winter Scenery Category," our main criteria included whether the entries captured the unique winter atmosphere of Marugame City, conveyed the warmth and human presence of the town, and expressed the subtle charm of everyday life that is often overlooked from the outside.

There were so many appealing works that the selection process was extremely difficult.
Beautiful mountains, an endless expanse of blue sea and sky, and the towns and bridges spreading out at their base. Through the selection process, I was reminded once again of the truly beautiful nature and townscape that surrounds Marugame City and its bus stops.

While cherishing and preserving these wonderful attractions, we hope to continue to contribute, however modestly, to helping more people experience and appreciate the charm of Marugame City.
Lastly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who cooperated in making this contest possible.

Thank you very much for the numerous entries we received for the Marugame City Photo Contest. From among the many wonderful works, we have selected four works to receive the "Airport Award."

Focusing on the exceptionally beautiful "sky" in the crisp winter air, we selected works that showcase the impressive harmony between the sky and the landscape from an airport-like perspective. We highly appreciate how each piece conveys the charm of Marugame in its own unique way: the seaside enveloped in a soft sunset, the harbor landscape bathed in sunlight against a vast blue sky, the abundant sky stretching above the townscape, and the tranquil scene woven by the calm sea and sky.

Furthermore, Kotoden Bus operates between Takamatsu Airport and Marugame, creating an environment where visitors arriving at the airport can easily visit Marugame and experience the region's charm. Through this work, we hope that the beautiful scenery of Marugame, unfolding against the sky, will reach many people and lead to new encounters and vibrancy in the region.
