Three projects designed by our company received the Grand Prize and other awards at the 14th Carbon Neutral Award

The "14th Carbon Neutral Grand Prize" goes to "Shinryo Innovation Hub," and the "14th Carbon Neutral Award" goes to "Tokachi Nokyoren Building" and "SHO-BOND CORPORATION North Japan Branch."

Mitsubishi Jisho Design Inc. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Director: Junichi Tanisawa) is pleased to announce that the following three projects designed by our company have received the "Carbon Neutral Award Grand Prize" and the "Carbon Neutral Grand Prize" at the 14th (FY2025) "Carbon Neutral Award Awards."

 • Environmental technologies supporting decarbonization and creativity at Shinryo Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Innovation Hub
(Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, completed in 2023)
Carbon Neutral Award
 ・ Environmentally conscious technologies and commissioning achievements in earthquake-resistant construction in cold regions (Tokachi Nokyoren Building)
 (Obihiro City, Hokkaido, completed in 2022)
・ SHO-BOND CORPORATION North Japan Branch 's efforts toward carbon neutrality
 (Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, completed in 2023)

The "Carbon Neutral Award" (organized by Japanese Association of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineers) was established in 2012 with the aim of incentivizing the activities of building equipment engineers in addressing global environmental issues. Its purpose is to promote and revitalize awareness of carbon neutrality by recognizing outstanding achievements related to buildings and building equipment that contribute to the realization of a carbon neutral society.

Carbon Neutral Award website features a summary of each project, comments from the selection committee chairman, and feedback from MEP Engineering. Please take a look.
