We are pleased to announce that "Grand Green Osaka South Building," which our company was involved in designing, has received the following two awards.
- Received the "Osaka Mayor's Award" at the 2025 "Osaka Environmentally Friendly Architecture Awards" (sponsored by Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City) (awarded jointly with "Grand Green Osaka North Building" and "VS.").
- Received the "Ryo Design Architecture Award -ZEB Style-" at the 2025 Osaka Climate Change Countermeasures Award Special Award (nickname: "Ryo" Design Architecture Award) (sponsored by Osaka Prefecture).

The "Osaka Environmentally Friendly Architecture Award"is a unified award combining the Osaka Prefectural Government's "Osaka Sustainable Architecture Award (Osaka Architectural Environmental Consideration Award)" and the Osaka City Government's "CASBEE Osaka OF THE YEAR," recognizing the owners and designers of buildings that demonstrate outstanding environmental considerations. It aims to promote voluntary environmental initiatives, ensure a good urban environment, and raise awareness of environmentally friendly architecture and urban development.

The Osaka Mayor's Award, which the project received this time, highly praised the proactive introduction of advanced environmentally friendly technologies, such as a biogas power generation facility that produces electricity and heat (hot water) from methane gas generated from organic matter in food waste discharged on the site, and a large-scale aquifer thermal energy storage system that stores and reuses hot and cold waste heat generated from the building's heat source in groundwater, as well as the creation of a lush green space that will become a symbol of the central area of Osaka.

The "Osaka Climate Change Countermeasures Award Special Award (nickname: "Cool" Design Architecture Award)"recognizes building owners and designers who have made particularly outstanding efforts to mitigate the urban heat island effect in buildings, serving as a model for others. This award is based on the "Osaka Prefecture Ordinance on the Promotion of Climate Change Countermeasures (enacted April 1, 2006)" and aims to further promote the widespread adoption of urban heat island countermeasures.
