These pavilions Veneti-An Tea House​ ​food waste found in local cultures and renewable resources (recycled paper) as building materials, such as pasta, coffee grounds, and wine corks in the "Venetian Pavilion," and tea leaves and dried fruit in the "Arabi-An Tea House." For this third installment, the "Catalan Pavilion,"olive pomace and wine corks from the Catalonia region will be used as raw materials.
Catalonia is known for its wine and olive oil production, and behind its rich culinary culture, a large amount of organic waste is generated every day. We will reinterpret local materials such as olive pomace and cork not merely as waste, but as resources imbued with the memory of the land and traces of industry, and transform them into new architecture.

In addition to resources, the design incorporates the local latitude of the installation location (in this case, 41 degrees, the latitude of Barcelona), embodying both universality and uniqueness that makes it applicable worldwide. The building, a cube with sides of approximately 1.6m, is compact enough to fit into seven suitcases, minimizing CO₂ emissions during transport, and is assembled by the designers themselves. After the exhibition, as a further upcycling project, the pavilion is planned to be disassembled into parts and reassembled and redistributed as furniture that can be shaped in various ways.
