Regarding the self-declaration of conformity with ISO 14001
Mitsubishi Jisho Design Inc. has obtained third-party certification from certification bodies for its Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001 standards since 1999, and for its Environmental Management System (EMS) based on ISO 14001 standards since 2002, and has been continuously renewing these certifications.
By integrating EMS (Energy Management System) into our QMS (Quality Management System) in a way that aligns with our business activities and operating them as a unified whole, we aim to improve our creativity and technological capabilities, while also contributing to the realization of a sustainable environment and a truly prosperous society.
Going forward, in order to focus even more on implementing more advanced and original environmental proposals in our daily projects, we will transition from third-party certification to self-declaration of conformity for ISO 14001. Based on the principles of ISO, we will continue to make improvements and further advance our environmental initiatives as an architectural and urban design firm.
Regarding self-declaration of conformity
A self-declaration of conformity is a mechanism defined in the ISO 14001 standard, in which an organization confirms its conformity to ISO requirements and declares that conformity under its own responsibility, without relying on an external certification body.
