The Landmark Nagoya Sakae

This project is a large-scale complex building that will become a new landmark for Nagoya, and will be comprised of offices, a hotel, a cinema complex, shops, etc., based on the concept of "SAKAE URBAN FABRIC," a base for creating value for domestic and international culture and exchange that will weave together the "world," "people," and "town." facade design aims to create a symbolic tower that expresses the "spinning, weaving, and wearing" of Sakae's various urban elements, likening them to threads.
Construction is currently underway with a target completion date of March 2026. Our company has been involved in the project since the proposal stage, creating the plans, and after the proposal was awarded, we collaborated with the contractor on the design stage, and during the construction stage we provided technical support to the developer as CM and facade supervisor.
