Juzenkai Hospital

This project combines Renovation and expansion of the existing building of the former Nagasaki Municipal Hospital. The top three floors of the existing building were demolished and reinforced to make it earthquake-resistant. The interior was stripped down to a bare skeleton, and the facilities and interior were renewed, with staff and outpatient departments located there. The newly constructed area will house imaging and surgery departments capable of handling cutting-edge medical care, and the upper floors are planned to house a 188-bed ward with versatility for the future.
