Juzenkai Hospital

The project combines Renovation and expansion of the existing building of the former Nagasaki City Municipal Hospital. The top three floors of the existing building were demolished and reinforced to withstand earthquakes. The interior was stripped to its bare bones, and the facilities and interior were renewed, with staff and outpatient departments located there. The newly constructed section will house imaging and surgery departments capable of handling cutting-edge medical care, and the upper floors are planned to house a 188-bed ward with future flexibility.
