Development of MELRemo‐IPS

While offices based on ABW (Activity-Based Working), which allows people to "select their preferred environment to suit their work," are becoming more common, there is still the issue of it being difficult to know who is working where. MELRemo-IPS solves this problem by using a multi-air conditioner for buildings to detect where people are and the environment. It uses BLE (a communication system using Bluetooth) to detect the location of a worker's laptop and other devices, and shares that location with those around them. At the same time, it is possible to display the temperature and control the air conditioning, making it a system that supports choosing a comfortable space. (Demonstrated in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric)
