The Royal Park Canvas Sapporo Odori Park

The Royal Park Canvas Sapporo Odori Park

Based on the concept of "experiencing Hokkaido," this is Japan's first high-rise hybrid wooden hotel, aiming to achieve the ultimate in local production and consumption, by focusing on using building materials and ingredients from Hokkaido, from the building to the hotel operations.
The building is a hybrid structure with reinforced concrete construction from the basement to the 8th floor (CLT is used for part of the 8th floor floor), and pure wood construction (Floors: CLT, Walls: High-strength walls/Expanded SSW14 construction method) for the top four floors from the 9th floor to the penthouse floor. The entire building uses over 1,200 m3 of wood, more than 80% of which is made from Hokkaido wood.
