Shinryo Shinjo Building

This office building in Kanda, Tokyo, has achieved ZEB Ready status with a spatial layout that fosters diverse interactions befitting a downtown area and cutting-edge environmental technology.
The main facade, resembling an alleyway, acts as a buffer between indoors and outdoors, helping to reduce the office's air conditioning load. It also serves as a chimney for natural ventilation and a space for workers to socialize.

Two types of ductless air conditioning (variable air volume Coanda air conditioning and outside air cooled radiant air conditioning) developed in collaboration with the developer have been installed on standard floors to keep floor heights down and maximize office efficiency within the height restrictions.
This was our first attempt at LEED certification and we achieved GOLD (v3).
