Renovation of Otemachi Building

The small column spans and long corridors from when the building was completed (1958) have been taken as something that meets the current demands of small offices for start-ups and the like, and efforts have been made to extend their lifespan by focusing on facade, interior design of common areas, expansion of underground retail facilities, and utilization of the rooftop. facade frame was constructed separately from the outside and the inside (tenant-exclusive areas), and renovations were carried out to suit the convenience of the tenants while they were still living there. Different materials have been used to create different scenery on each street across the 200m long volume. The plan is to convert the characteristics of the existing stock into value, and update both the hard and soft aspects.
