Renovation of Otemachi Building

The small column spans and long corridors from when the building was completed (1958) have been adapted to meet the current demands of small offices for startups and other businesses, with efforts aimed at extending the building's lifespan by improving facade, interior design of common areas, strengthening basement retail facilities, and utilizing the rooftop. facade frame was constructed separately from the outside and the inside (tenant-only areas), allowing for "renovations while the tenants are still living in the building" to suit the needs of the tenants. Different materials have been used to create different scenery on each street across the 200m long volume. The plan is to convert the characteristics of the existing stock into value and update both the hardware and software aspects.
