The Extension of Pedestrian Deck in JR Tamachi station square

This is a plan to extend the pedestrian deck that will form a barrier-free pedestrian network from JR Tamachi Station to the block where public facilities (Minato Park Shibaura, Shibaura Park, etc.) are located. In the first phase of development, the area adjacent to the north side of JR Tamachi Station and the east exit station square will be developed in conjunction with the existing Tamachi Station east exit and the above-ground station square of Nagisa-dori, the symbolic street of the area, and will be used as a new pedestrian axis for the area. In the future, in the second phase of development, plans are in place to renovate the above-ground square and further expand the deck in conjunction with the widening of the East-West Free Passage.
