TOKYO TORCH　Torch Tower

Torch Tower is a large-scale, ultra-high-rise, multi-purpose building planned for Tokiwabashi, approximately 390 meters high. The design team, with Mitsubishi Jisho Design Sekkei as core architect, designed it with the meaning of "illuminating Japan and the world." Rather than being a standalone structure, Torch Tower is expected to be integrated with Tokiwabashi Tower, Zenibanecho Building, and Tokiwabashi Park, connecting with the surrounding blocks and becoming a truly open space.

At its base, a large plaza filled with water and greenery and Tokiwabashi Park welcome a diverse range of people. The aim is to disseminate information from all over Japan, connect the regions with Tokyo, and become a place where diverse people can gather. The lower floors house a large-scale commercial facility and a 2,000-seat hall, which are connected by an aerial walkway. The Torch Tower and Tokiwabashi Tower form a trinity with the plaza at its core.

There is a sky lobby on the base floor, which was planned as a place of relaxation where office workers can relax and enjoy the view of Tokyo.
At the top of the hill, which seems to float in the sky, there are luxury residences, the internationally renowned Dorchester Collection hotel, and an observation facility. The introduction of residences in particular is expected to promote work-life integration for urban dwellers and increase the value of the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho areas, which have previously lacked residential facilities.

Construction of Torch Tower, which truly embodies the concept of "a town that connects ideas and lights up the future," began in September 2023 and is currently underway with completion scheduled for the end of May 2028.
