SHONAN SHIRAYURI GAKUEN Kindergarten

A kindergarten with an attached tsunami evacuation facility. We supported the business continuity plan and tsunami-related administrative consultations, formulated concept design, selected the design and construction company, and were responsible for management from construction to completion. This project is the first to receive a subsidy from Fujisawa City for the construction of a tsunami evacuation facility, and is equipped with a stockpile warehouse, generators, etc., allowing evacuation of approximately 1,600 people, including kindergarten and elementary school students and local residents, from the largest anticipated tsunami. The building is an attractive facility with ample space filled with gentle light, allowing children to spend time safely and comfortably.
