Gotemba Premium OutletsⓇ Bridge of Good Hope

A covered pedestrian bridge boasting one of the largest spans in Japan at 100m. It uses a rational three-span continuous truss structure with a main structural shape that changes from the middle to the upper section, and weather-resistant steel materials. While prioritizing economy, the design harmonizes with the surrounding landscape and exudes a sense of strength as it approaches Mt. Fuji. During the day, the terrace allows visitors to enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding nature, shops, and hotels, and at night, the handrail lights create a corridor of light that connects the old and new areas, making this the "Bridge of Hope," supporting the further development of Japan's number one outlet mall.
