Kawasaki Technology Development Center
Kawasaki Technology Development Center
A research facility that conducts performance testing, research and development, and technology dissemination of radioisotopes used in the medical, research, and industrial fields.
The windowless, closed-off building volume is reduced by using a concave-convex design using a foam-based decorative formwork on facade PC board, a glass entrance, and segmentation using slits to reduce the sense of oppression and weight. While prioritizing the comfort and safety of the workers, we also took into consideration the scenery from the promenade along the Tama River and Haneda Airport.
