Kawasaki Technology Development Center

A research facility that conducts performance testing, research and development, and technology dissemination of radioisotopes used in the medical, research, and industrial fields.
The closed-off, windowless building volume is alleviated by the uneven design using a foam decorative formwork on facade PC board, the glass entrance, and segmentation with slits, reducing the sense of oppression and weight. While prioritizing the comfort and safety of the workers, we also took into consideration the view from the promenade along the Tama River and Haneda Airport.
