Grand Mall Park Renewal Project

This is a renovation plan for a park located in the heart of Minatomirai 21 district. In the "Art Plaza," situated between the Yokohama Museum of Art and MARK IS Minatomirai, another row of zelkova trees will be added to the existing two rows. The amount of greenery will be expanded to create a zelkova plaza, and green infrastructure with water-retentive paving and underground rainwater storage functions will be introduced. In the central area, a plaza will be developed as "Minatomirai 's Water Mirror," which can be used as a fountain, water mirror, and paved surface.
