Shibuya Toyu Building(Kewpie Head Office Building)
Shibuya Toyu Building(Kewpie Head Office Building)
Rebuilding of Kewpie's former headquarters building, facing Mitake Street on the north side of Shibuya Station.
The core is concentrated at the base of the T-shape of the site, and the columns on the standard floors are placed inside the double skin, creating a pillar-free office space with a high degree of freedom. Furthermore, the ceiling height is ensured by using pre-beams that eliminate small beams in the ceiling. Large eaves are extended on the lower floors, with the intention of conveying the character and identity of a company that represents Japan to the entire town.
