Nihonbashi Dia Building
A reconstruction plan for the Mitsubishi Warehouse Edobashi Warehouse Building, Japan's first urban warehouse.
The exterior walls and part of the framework of the existing building, which is designated as a Tokyo Metropolitan Historical Building, were preserved and renovated, while the center was demolished and the upper floors were expanded. The colors and curved design of the preserved lower floors were carried over to the upper floors, and the facility as a whole was designed with consideration for BCP and environmental performance.
