Reconstruction plan for Shimadzu Corporation's head office building within the Sanjo Factory.
To express the company's image of history and tradition representing Kyoto, the exterior is carved with a deep, dignified appearance, while the interior exudes a sense of modernity. Light and ventilation are ensured through the atrium courtyard in the center of the third floor, and numerous spaces are placed around it to encourage communication.
