JOYO BANK Tone Brunch
JOYO BANK Tone Brunch
A branch of Joyo Bank located in a residential area where the Tone River flows.
Our goal was to create a comfortable space for customers and a bank branch with a strong presence in the local community.
The wall pillars and eaves in the visitor lobby are designed to block sunlight in the summer and let it in in the winter, and their shapes were determined after simulating the amount of sunlight each season. The wall pillars are positioned so that their angle gradually changes along the gently curved eaves, and together with the facade materials finished with Kushibiki plaster, they express the "majestic flow of the Tone River."
Other environmentally friendly initiatives include a natural ventilation system that utilizes the wind direction most prevalent during the mid-season, and solar panels on the roof, which integrate the building and its facilities.
