This is the headquarters building for Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. in the Chukyo region.
Considering business continuity in the event of an earthquake, the building has earthquake resistance equivalent to Class 1 seismic resistance standards for government buildings. It also has an emergency power generation system that can operate for more than 72 hours. It is also environmentally friendly, with double-skinned windows and LED lighting throughout the building, earning it an S-rank rating under CASBEE Nagoya.
A multipurpose hall and gallery open to the public are located on the lower floors to create a lively atmosphere in the area.Locally produced materials and motifs are actively incorporated into the Landscape and interior, creating a design that is rooted in the local area.
