Construction plan for the Hoshizaki Okinawa Co., Ltd. head office building along a major arterial road near the center of Naha City.
The exterior is designed with vertical louvers arranged in a large gate-shaped frame, which blocks strong sunlight from entering the room while maintaining an open feel. The terracotta tiles, which are reminiscent of the color and texture of traditional Okinawan roofing tiles, are used to pay attention to Okinawa's history and regional characteristics.
To accommodate Okinawa's unique climate, each component was designed to withstand typhoons, and the equipment was made to be heavy-salt resistant to protect against salt damage.
