This project involved relocating a junior high school and high school from Yamate-cho, Naka-ku, Yokohama to a new site. The surrounding area of the site is a quiet residential area, and we aimed to create a rich educational environment that blends in with the local environment.
Despite the complex design conditions, the facility was compactly constructed, and it is a learning facility that connects students with each other, with teachers, and with the environment, with a courtyard, terrace, and general learning corner for interaction.In addition, energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies were incorporated so that students can learn about the environment.
