Royal Park Hotel THE Fukuoka

This is the first in Royal Park Hotel 's "THE" series of city hotels that focus on accommodation.
To realize the hotel's catchphrase, "Hospitality with the City," the design sublimates the charm of Hakata, with Hakata-ori textiles and Hakata fences on facade and the Hakata Gion Yamakasa motif on the interior, based on the concept of "festivals." Considering the hotel's relationship with its surroundings, the design also incorporates the triangular topography, which serves as a memory of the land, and the history of the building's owner, Fukami Steel Works.
