SSJ Shinagawa Building
A reconstruction plan for the Shibaura Shearing Building, which was completed in 1985 (present day Shibaura Crystal Shinagawa Konan).
Taking advantage of the planned site's location, an area sandwiched between the old coastal street and Takahama Canal in front of the Konan exit of Shinagawa Station, the project aims to create a lively atmosphere around Takahama Canal and link it with the flow of people along the old coastal street.
Gardens and promenades filled with water and greenery will be developed throughout the site, and the office entrances and stores will be located facing the canal, creating a lively pedestrian network.
The interior and exterior spaces of the entire building were designed with a motif of "white sand" and "waves" in order to create a refreshing and bright atmosphere befitting a waterfront office.
