Yagoto Police Box / Yagoto Koushoji Parking for worshipers

This is the first phase of the grounds development plan for Yagotoyama Koshoji Temple, which is celebrating its 300th anniversary since its founding.
In order to streamline the confusing pedestrian and vehicle traffic flow, a multi-story parking lot with a capacity of approximately 220 cars was constructed beside the approach to the shrine.
In addition, by developing the surrounding area as a whole, including the development of the adjacent children's park and biotope and the replacement of the aging police station, a unified, lush landscape and a bright approach to the shrine that is open to the local community have been created.
facade of the police box and multi-story car park were intentionally left unpainted, allowing the colour of the materials to change over time, creating buildings that blend in with their surroundings alongside the historic temple.
