Ichiban-cho HEIWA Building
A highly convenient and visible complex building connected to Sendai Station via an arcade shopping street.
The lattice-patterned exterior design resembles a glass showcase, allowing the building to blend in with the streetscape while still allowing each tenant's individuality to decorate the exterior, creating a lively atmosphere that is linked to the city.
The building is the first north of Tokyo to use LED lighting throughout. The roof is illuminated, and there is a light wall on the side that can also be used as a sign panel.
The wall of the first floor entrance is covered entirely in greenery, providing a sense of comfort to visitors and passersby as a "visualized environmental device."
