The ward office building blends in with the natural scenery of Nishi Ward, Kumamoto City.
Materials that emphasize the texture of the material are used, such as exposed concrete made from real cedar boards in a formwork, openwork made from terracotta blocks with a unique cross section, and handrails made from recycled wood louvers on the balcony.
Additionally, we focused on long life and environmental friendliness with pillar-free office space, natural ventilation through eco-voids, 30kW solar panels, and wall greenery.
