PARKHOUSE KIGI TSUDANUMAMAEBARA Landscape
Park House Kii is an apartment complex planned on the site of the former Maehara Housing Complex owned by the Japan Housing Corporation.
The site slopes downwards on the south side, and there is an existing row of zelkova trees, 15 to 20 meters tall, running east to west. Based on the themes of "connecting greenery," "symbiotic greenery," and "feeling greenery," we have created Landscape characterized by the following points.
1. Preserving Funabashi's distinctive green landscape by preserving existing zelkova trees
2. Formation of a green network that connects open spaces such as local parks and squares with the greenery on the site
3. Providing a three-dimensional green space through planting that takes advantage of the difference in elevation on the slope
4. The integration of the trees lining the main road and the greenery on the site creates an urban axis for the area
5. Greenery that makes residents and locals feel close to the area
Additionally, environmental considerations have been taken into account, such as reusing thinned cedar wood for the playground equipment and benches on the premises.
