(Tentative name) Shinagawa Station East Exit B-1 District Environmental Impact Assessment Project
This project is a redevelopment project in an area adjacent to the east side of JR Shinagawa Station, and is based on the high-level plans of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Minato City. The aim is to create an amenity-rich environment that combines residential functions with business functions, taking advantage of the location close to the city center.
As this was a large-scale redevelopment project in the city center, and other developments were planned for other blocks, the station plaza, and roads in addition to this project, the project was carried out carefully, taking into consideration the impact of these. In addition, there were many elements that required environmental consideration specific to this area, such as verifying the impact of wind on the Shinkansen, dealing with wind noise issues, and ensuring traffic safety on surrounding main roads, making it a project that would be difficult to handle with a uniform assessment.
