Chiba Research Park Environmental Impact Assessment

This project aims to contribute to the overall improvement of industry and local development by carrying out a complex development in Chiba City and Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture, that will include research and training facilities, housing, and a golf course.
This is a large-scale development of approximately 190 hectares. During the assessment process, we received the opinion of the governor and reviewed the contents of the preparatory document, and changed the contents of the evaluation document. For example, from the perspective of environmental conservation, we halted the construction of some of the reservoir embankments, changed the golf course, and conducted additional surveys of rare species of flora and fauna, and carried out various reviews to further reduce the impact on the surrounding environment.
The golf course is currently open as Asakura Golf Course.
