Kirin Beer Shin-Yokohama Factory (Kirin Yokohama Beer Village) Environmental impact assessment work
Kirin Beer's beer manufacturing factory, which was established in 1926 in Tsurumi Ward, Yokohama, was restructured due to its aging.
We predicted and evaluated the impact of beer factories on the surrounding environment, including air pollution from factory boilers, water pollution from wastewater, noise and vibrations from beer brewing and commercialization, and odors from the production equipment used in the factory, such as the "steam odor from boiling wort and lees hopper."
Currently, the facility offers factory tours, beer tastings, restaurant meals, and various events, and is operating as a facility closely tied to the local community.
