Crowne Plaza Shanghai

This is an expansion plan for a long-established hotel with a cinema that is popular among local residents, located in the former residential area of Hongqiao District on the west side of Shanghai. In order to blend in with the surrounding greenery, the walls are made of vertical brown ceramic tiles reminiscent of tree trunks and large openings, making it a symbol of the area.
