Shincron Headquarters

This building is the headquarters of Shincron Co., Ltd., one of the world's leading manufacturers of vacuum thin-film deposition equipment. The arc-shaped workspace area uses an all-through double-skin glass curtain wall that creates a bright indoor environment while being environmentally friendly. An automatic opening and closing device opens the curtain in the summer to vent heat, and closes it in the winter to function as an insulating layer. In addition, the anti-reflection and light gradation that are characteristics of the products produced by the vacuum thin-film deposition equipment are expressed by museum glass, automatic sunlight-tracking blinds, and gradations created by lighting.
