Marunouchi Naka-dori Renewal Project

Nakadori Street, which runs north to south through Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho, is the foundation of urban activity connecting various facilities in the urban regeneration project currently underway in the area, and is positioned as the "skeletal axis of the town." In this project, Nakadori Street is viewed as the "axis of amenity and activity," and the aim was to create a human-scale relaxation space while also "ensuring safety, improving convenience, and deepening comfort."
In the street design, natural stone paving was used for the roadway and sidewalks, creating a sense of unity between the street and the building facade on both sides and creating a dignified atmosphere for the town.In addition, a comfortable and enjoyable space was created by enhancing the greenery of the street with trees and shrubs, updating the lighting and bollards, and installing rest spaces surrounded by art and greenery.
The result is an "urban living room" that is not only sophisticated and functional, but also aesthetically appealing.
