West Block, Gakushuin Primary School
West Block, Gakushuin Primary School
This classroom building was added to the west of the main building, which was completed in 1939. The layout was designed to respect the large ginkgo tree, the school's symbolic tree, and the eaves and bay windows were designed to match the main building. The building has an open atrium, creating a spacious space for children, and the school was designed to be one where environmental considerations can be felt.
