Otemae University Central Building, Building 6

Otemon Gakuin University, Central Building / Building 6

This project was planned as the core project for the 120th anniversary of the founding of the academy, and our company was selected through a competition. By utilizing the old facilities in the surrounding area and developing the new building to form an integrated space with them, the landscape has been completely transformed into a space that will be memorable for students and faculty. The 45m-high central building has a sense of dignity, using plasterwork tiles that resemble the trunk of a cherry tree, the symbol of the university. The windows on both the east and west sides are double-skinned, improving the internal environment and reducing running costs by reducing the equipment's environmental impact.
